Position: Experienced Construction Laborer

Location: Lakewood, CO

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists crew leader in construction and maintenance work
• Cleans and prepares construction jobsites to eliminate possible hazards
• Works with specialized equipment, the type of equipment varies by the job
• Load or unload materials to use at the jobsite
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Report to job site everyday – job sites vary and can be anywhere in the Denver metro area including Ft Collins and Colorado Springs
• Some travel and per diem for overnight travel
• Gas allowance if more than 50 miles outside metro area
• Work in a safe manner at all times

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications:

• 1+ year construction experience, preferably in utility construction preferred
• Ability to travel
• Ability to take direction from leadership
• Ability to recognize safety risks and hazards
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Work in standing, seated or other physical positions
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check

We are looking for experienced Construction Laborers to join our growing team. Laborers work under the direction of other field personnel performing physical activities in support of completing utility construction jobs. Laborers are vital to the success of the crew and job and should be able to trouble shoot and follow directions to ensure the job is completed safely and accurately.

Job Type: Full-Time

• Compensation $22.00-$27.00 per hour DOE
