Course Content

Course Objective

To harness our community’s entrepreneurial talents to further catalyze the construction industry, the Academy is offering a dynamic entrepreneur program: the Contractor Development Series (CDS). From its onset, the Academy has focused on the supply side–workforce development–of the labor equation. Grounded in success on the supply side, we are shifting attention and resources to the demand side of the equation: small construction-based businesses that represent the job-generating backbone of our local economy.

The CDS program will initially be designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the learning tools and resources necessary to launch and sustain a business in construction while teaching proper business fundamentals that will ensure success and longevity.

In the near future, we intend to provide a more robust entrepreneurial course for business owners that have been in business for a while and could use the help to scale their business, so stay tuned.
