What is a Pop-Up Bootcamp?
During the summer months, we invite builders, other non-profits, and community groups who want to bring construction training to their area to host “Pop-Up” Construction Bootcamps on a real job site. At these Pop-Up Bootcamps, you provide the work site, our instructors provide the curriculum, and our students learn carpentry, hand and power tools, safety, math, print reading, framing, hands-on build projects, and get career assistance.
Want to host a Pop-Up Bootcamp? Ideal locations for these are:
- Future home-build lots
- Open grassy areas
- Gravel lots
- Parking lots
- Just about anywhere outdoors!
