As the Environmental Control Supervisor, you will supervise a team in a manufacturing and assembly environment; plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

What will you do as an EC Supervisor at Dawn Foods?
- Ensure team members follow GMP, food safety and general safety requirements; monitor compliance to these requirements
- Participate with Quality Control programs to assure product quality and adherence to food safety.
- Ensure efficiencies are met or exceeded according to standards in relation to aspects of cleaning that will affect production schedules.
- Assist in internal audits to ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, and BRC methods, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure effective team member relations. Provide team members coaching and development. Resolve team members’ issues through effective problem resolution.
- Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
- Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to manager.
- Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely manner to include daily reports, timekeeping responsibilities, work hours required to complete all required tasks, etc.
- Lead and manage a team of sanitation staff to ensure cleanliness standards are met across the facility.
- Oversee daily cleaning schedules, procedures, and compliance with FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, storage areas, and workspaces to maintain a food-safe environment.
- Train and mentor team members on proper sanitation techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure proper use of chemicals and equipment.
- Work with managers/supervisors in each department to coordinate sanitation activities.
- Follow, review, update, and adhere to Master Sanitation schedule..
- Develop and update Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
- Train and develop sanitation team as well as the production team members on proper cleaning techniques.
- Direct contact with the third-party pest control company; address any concerns identified in a timely manner.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualifications:

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), required
- Associate degree (AA) from two-year college or technical school, preferred
- Minimum of two years in a leadership role in a production environment, required
- Minimum of four years of manufacturing industry experience in sanitation, required
- Experience with Master Sanitation scheduling and requirements, preferred
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Understanding of Microsoft Office programs and basic computer skills

- Temperature fluctuates with the season – colder during the winter/warmer during the summer
- Working around heavy machinery – hearing protection required in production area

Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation:
$67,020 – $103,210 with incentive eligibility
